Successfully continuing the weekend of local creativity, the talent and the mixing of art and good food to Baby Marrow Malindi, Vasco Da Gama Road.
The appointment of this Saturday was with the craftsman Francis Chibule Mambrui. Creative can transform any material, recycling or even leather and metal, in a piece of furniture except in a true work of art.
Francis was joined for years at the lab Be Clever. "Working together with the Italian designer Marzia Chierichetti - explains Francis - it was very important for me. I was not just a performer, but I could bring my creativity and express my ideas.
I enriched my luggage and now I produce objects designed and created by me. "
This workshop is the creative spirit of the Baby Marrow, under the artistic direction of Giampaolo Tomasi.
During dinner on Saturday, the Kenyan artist and craftsman has not confined itself to its accessories, but explained how imagines and works the matter, including chandeliers and candle holders aluminum, food and household items, bags and purses with recycled materials such as plastic and metal, bracelets and more.
During these evenings you can also order the artisans their creations.
