The World Week of Italian Cuisine this year in Kenya is celebrated on the shores of the Indian Ocean in Malindi. What could be better than enjoying the gastronomic specialties of our home on a pristine beach just in front of the famous sandy atolls of Mayungu in front of the coral reef? On Friday lunch, for the third day of the culinary event organized by the Embassy of Italy in Kenya, Malaika Beach offers its now famous home cooking in a lunch a few meters from the sea in the setting of a charming beach restaurant. In this way, the appointment with a comprehensive menu is transformed into a day of relaxation and pleasure between the beds and the holiday scenery of the local Mayungu. And what do you bring! From the never-ending appetizer mari e monti, to grouper-filled ravioli with shrimp sauce and a carbonara made as God commands, from the revisitation of the kid to the cacciatora to the fish caught in front of the bay of Mayungu cooked on the grill, with a taste of the Artusi's dish, the golden chicken.
