The exclusive space of art, culture and wellness Shala Heart opens the doors to its beauty and meeting, with a Gala evening that involves great Kenyan artists and VIPs to better illustrate what will be its future activity.
The spectacular residence of the Italian Luisella Luce Torreforte, attended by international guests, masters of oriental disciplines, nutritionists and artists of all kinds, invites everyone to a happening based on works of art, music, gastronomy, social and other suggestions.
Master of ceremony of the evening will be the most famous and celebrated journalist and national anchor man, Jeff Koinange. The icon of Kenyan entertainment and information, the Kenyan entertainment and information icon, who is a TV star with his "Jeff Koinange Show" aired on Citizen TV, has the task of introducing a number of top stars in the artistic firmament of East Africa: the guitarist and singer Sir Elvis Otieno, who grew up in Norway but returned to Africa to spread the Opry music, made famous by artists such as Jim Reeves, Charley Pride and Dolly Parton, as well as the most modern sound of Nashville and its surroundings.  Today he is a true African Country Folk legend and will perform a vibrant live music and dance performance. Another valuable presence is that of chef Maliha Mohammed, known in the international chronicles for having recently beaten the Guinness Book of World Records for hours on the stove, but also for her ability to offer a range of typical international cuisines in the form of finger food.
A more in-depth speech deserves the guest of excellence Peter Elungat, Kenyan artist and one of the most important in East Africa who will exhibit some of his works that have as their protagonist the woman, evoked in all her sentimental facets.
Elungat has embraced the project "Adopt a Wall" created and supported by Shala Heart, an educational center of creative arts for children in Kisumundogo, one of the poorest neighborhoods on the outskirts of Malindi. Here children can express their talent through art, music and dance: an opportunity to grow up developing new skills to support themselves.
