Promotion time for Malindi and Watamu tourism

From tomorrow in Nairobi, Watamu Gateway Expo and Magical Kenya Travel Expo

28-09-2017 by redazione

It is the time of the tourist promotion of Malindi, Watamu and the other places of Kilifi County.
After an August that, considering the anxieties and electoral expectations, went too well, it is time to showcase with optimism for the coming season.
On the other hand, those who work in the tourism sector on the Kenyan coast know well that there are hardly any problems of public order in these areas, but we are also aware that the tam-tam media, should something still happen in the regions of Lake Victoria or in the slums of Nairobi, would as always be exaggerated and merciless.
So from tomorrow the tourist resorts of the north coast, and with them many activities run by compatriots, begin to promote themselves in fairs and events.
Just tomorrow, as previously announced, the Watamu Gateway Expo will be launched in the park on August 7 in the centre of the capital city (see the presentation article here). This is a three-day event during which the "pearl of the Indian Ocean" will be on display, with stands of almost all the most important structures and activities.
And even those that won't be physically present will be combined with our glossy magazine "What's best in Kilifi County" and the t-shirts worn by the expo staff.
In October, two other important events to promote Kenya and its coast at a national, Pan-African, Italian and world level.
From 2 to 5 October it will be the turn of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo, the most important trade fair event that concerns the whole country and the best it can offer in terms of tourism. The Kenya Tourist Board's event includes meetings, conferences, debates and exchanges of views with agencies, facilities and buyers from around the world. Of course, copies of "What's Best in Kilifi County"will be available at the KTB desks.
The magazines will also be available to insiders next week, from Thursday 5 to Saturday 7 October, for the annual edition of the Rimini TTG Tourism Fair, where Jacaranda Resort will make it available to those present.
