The two Chinese citizens who had been placed in isolation for a few days because they were considered suspicious cases of Coronavirus, were found negative for the virus.
The Kenyan Ministry of Health has just released it in a statement in the main national media.
He is a middle-aged Chinese citizen living in Nakuru, recently returned from a trip to his home country, and a surveyor working for a construction company in Kitui County, north of the country.
The latter two cases are in addition to ten other hospitalizations with isolation procedures and coronavirus suspect controls, all of which were negative both for the Kenyan tests provided by the World Health Organization and for the counter-tests that arrived from South Africa.
In the note, the Minister of Health Sicily Kariuki also updated public opinion on the organization of the country in safeguarding the health safety of citizens.
"The government has intensified its preparedness measures through an intensified surveillance system at all entry points, health facilities and communities throughout the country to ensure that there is no import of COVID-19 into the country," the statement said.
The Government has confirmed the purchase of another 5000 personal protective equipment, the strengthening of trained rapid intervention teams ready to act in case of individual alarms throughout the country, the continuous updating and awareness raising of health workers in all major facilities and the strengthening of the presence at entry points. Five hundred doctors and health workers specializing in infectious diseases were deployed at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport alone.
