We continue with updates on the Kenyan political situation as we progressively approach the upcoming national elections on August 9.
With 95 days to go before the date, there are still many unresolved doubts concerning not only alliances and vice-presidents, but also the candidacies of individual parliamentarians and whether they belong to one or the other camp. The so-called buying and selling is not over yet and certainly the obligatory stage of the next May 16, date by which the main challengers Raila Odinga (Orange Democratic Movement) and William Ruto (United Democratic Alliance) will have to present the name of their deputy.
