"Samaki wa kupaka ya nazi", that is literally "Cubes of coconut fish" is a traditional Swahili dish from Kenya, which uses various spices of ancient Indian origin to give it a taste. A very tasty version includes the "madras", the most common version is the classic curry.
Here is the recipe.

Ingredients for 4 people::  Persons

Fish cut into cubes (to avoid too many thorns, better use kingfish, grouper or snapper)

Curry powder
Ground black pepper
Salt halls
Lemon juice (or salt with pepper and lemon, also found in envelopes in Kenya)
Sweet Paprika
Garlic Spicchio
Marinate the fish using the above ingredients, then fry the fish until it is fully cooked.

For the sauce:

Tomatoes
Salt halls
Turmeric Powder
Curry powder
Crushed coriander
Olive or seed oil
Coconut cream (or thick milk)

Cook these ingredients (except coconut milk) until they are fully cooked.
Pour everything on the fish in the same pan as previously used to cook it.
When cooked, add some thick coconut milk and mix well the curry.

It is served preferably with basmati rice.
