After two years of absence, due to the pandemic, the appointment with the Italian Week Expo returns to Nairobi, the fair of the Italian spirit organized by the Comites Kenya, which this year will be entirely dedicated to the food and wine of our country.
Specialties of our peninsula produced in Kenya, imported delicacies, companies that promote Italian excellence and compatriots who through social or eco-sustainable projects help the agri-food chains of the African country to grow, will be the protagonists on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June at the "Food & Wine Festival '22" which will be held in the spaces of the Village Market shopping center in the district of Gigiri in Nairobi.
During the two days of exhibition, each exhibitor will have a space not only to propose, sell or taste their products, but also for demonstrations, show cooking or other.
The event, now in its fourth edition, in past years, before the restrictions of Covid-19, has been a great success with visitors and the richness and variety of Italian proposals have always created an important pole of attraction within the busy shopping center.
Wines, cheeses, cold cuts, pasta, coffee, ice cream and honey will be the lion's share, and the last spaces are still available to be present at the two-day event that wants to highlight the "Italian delicatessen" and our school and tradition of eating and drinking well.
