The unprecedented flood that many insiders, travel agents and even us as social media ‘receptacles’ believe the Kenyan coast is preparing for in the coming festive season can only make those in the industry and beyond happy.  Already, residents who work with tourism, restaurateurs and service providers are rubbing their hands, Kenyans and anyone who cares about the fortunes of thousands of them are hopeful that thanks to the influx of travellers from abroad, and even from Nairobi and other African capitals of neighbouring nations, they will have something to work and earn.
For our part, satisfaction (also interested, given our work to promote the area and its beauty) goes hand in hand with a little concern.
Already in August we had a taste, with numbers that will not represent the much larger ones of Christmas, New Year's Eve and Epiphany, of the small and not-so-small problems that our compatriots might create or those in which they might get entangled.

In a series of videos on our YouTube channel, we will, in these weeks before Christmas, illustrate some precautions to be observed and give warnings and advice not only not to ruin your holiday, but also not to ruin it for others and for Kenya itself!
