The Kilifi County Government is once again focusing on Italian tourism.
In this sense, the presence of the Ministry of Tourism at the 2019 edition of Rimini TTG, the most important Italian event in the sector, dedicated to operators, which opens tomorrow, Wednesday, October 9, is significant.
The fair opens today and the stand "This Is Kilifi", colorful and welcoming, will be ready with the leaders of the Ministry ready to offer a complete overview of maritime destinations but also attractions such as the Arabuko Sokoke Forest, the ruins of Gede, the Hell's Kitchen of Marafa and the mouth of the river Sabaki with its ecosystem. "This is Kilifi" is also the online platform that will soon be enriched with material and information on accommodation facilities in the region.
"We are making great efforts to improve the infrastructure related to tourism - explained the Minister of Tourism Nahida Athman on the eve of the TTG - but at the same time we are dedicated to marketing and promotion of our territory, also focusing on Italy.
Significant was the choice to prepare wall papers, brochures and videos in Italian, combined with beautiful images of the coast from Mwtapa to Mambrui, to give a vision and a clear message.
