Once again the events in Malindi are hitting the mark. Great participation and pleasure to meet last Friday in the spectacular scenery of Kilili Baharini for the usual Fashion Show at the beginning of the year organized by the Resort & Spa with Miradi Boutique Studio.
Twelve models and six models, all Kenyan, paraded presenting the collection of the creative Simonetta Schiantarelli and at the same time gave life to an unusual competition in which the public, through their applause, chose the most beautiful garment to match the model. All this to feed a lottery that then rewarded the winner with the chosen dress, as well as delivering other cadeau, offered by Medicallife, Italian company that supplies the SPA of Kilili Baharini, in memory of its mentor and great sponsor of Malindi, Mario "Max" Aquilino, who died prematurely a few months ago. In a nutshell, in one afternoon, the whole emotional universe was laid out on the shores of the Indian Ocean, flooding the beach bar and the poolside area of Kilili with beauty.
All seasoned with the musical interventions of Marco "Sbringo" Bigi and jokes, poems and songs by Freddie del Curatolo, presenter of the evening.
The Kilili Baharini Fashion Show, a structure always attentive to social issues and willing to show solidarity, was also an opportunity to deliver to the Children Center Asante Sana in Mambrui the funds raised at the Last of the Year to help the orphanage that has suffered serious damage due to a fire. Here is the photogallery of the evening.
