Kenya, few tests and high number of recoveries

The tampons analyzed drop and consequently the cases drop at a topical moment to understand where the second wave of Kenya is, but percentage remains up on 17%.
Yesterday the country recorded 957 official Covid-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic to 72,686.
Of the positive cases, 908 are Kenyan and 49 are foreigners, which is quite a high figure considering that foreigners are usually around 2% of the day's total and yesterday they rose to more than 5%.
There were 11 deaths yesterday and the total number of those who lost their lives due to Covid-19 rises to 1313.
The good news is that the number of healings also increased, yesterday record 24 hours with 2616 patients declared negative. 2434 were in home care while 182 freed up a bed in hospital.
There are still 1191 patients admitted to various healthcare facilities in the country, while 6,000 are in isolation and home care.
58 patients are in intensive care (ICU), 37 of whom are in ventilatory support and 26 in supplementary oxygen. A further 89 patients are on supplementary oxygen, 72 of whom are in general wards, while 17 are in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
Currently, 2,369 health workers have tested positive for the virus, of which 1,186 are male and 1,183 female.  The cumulative mortality rate of health workers is 30.
In county distribution, Nairobi recorded 368 cases, Nyeri 53, Kitui 41, Kiambu 40, Kisumu 37, Nyandarua 35, Mombasa 34, Uasin Gishu 34, Kakamega 33, Homa Bay 31, Nakuru 28.
Machakos, Kericho and Makueni counties recorded 21 cases, Kirinyaga 19, Kajiado 18, Siaya 18, Embu 18, Isiolo 15, Narok 13, Nandi 10, Laikipia 9, while Kilifi and Marsabit had seven cases each. Garissa reported five cases, Elgeyo Marakwet 4, Trans Nzoia 4, Taita Taveta 4, West Pokot 3, Kwale 2 while Migori, Busia, Samburu and Turkana each had one case.
