More corridors from Italy, but Kenya stays down

Ministry Speranza opens to Cuba, Oman, Phuket, Singapore

27-01-2022 by Freddie del Curatolo

Rather than nothing, better rather, said the Milanese cabaret artist of the last century Walter Valdi, who also wondered who went around building squares on the hypotenuse.
Rather than thinking of a logic of global reopening, well designed and with stakes of all kinds, insurance, vaccination, tampon, hormonal and philosophical, the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza insists with the corridors "covid free" and gives another contentino to Italian tour operators and a handful of tourists, those with suitcases ready for the week in Phuket, where, however, the Thais until recently did not want anyone to arrive.
Yesterday, Speranza announced that from February 1st, tourist travels to Cuba, Turkey, Singapore, Oman and French Polynesia will be reopened, as well as for the Thai destination, but woe to those who wanted to go to Bangkok.
Another blow for those who still hope for the reopening of Kenya or, at least, the "promotion" of some other countries, including those in Africa that are more oriented towards tourism, in the D bracket.
For now, these are the trimmings, including the return from a United Europe country without a buffer, for those with Green Passes. Tortoise steps while life parades by like an African cheetah.
