Everybody in Silversand Beach Malindi to save Nairobi National Park.
On Saturday 29 October 2016, four different locations along the coast of Kenya will be holding simultaneous events to showcase national unity by supporting the efforts in Nairobi to object to the government’s decision to route phase-2 of the SGR project through the middle of the Nairobi National Park, and express the concerns about the decision-making process and the dangerous precedent these decisions set for other protected areas..
In Malindi, we will be meeting at 1:00pm at The Driftwood Club, Silversands beach to sail the dhow of Roger Sylvester and spread our message with banners along the shore line.
A set menu for lunch will be served for 800/- (fish pie and chocolate mousse) and Roger is concocting a solidarity cocktail!
