TOURISTS
04-10-2020 by Freddie del Curatolo
They are more and more, day after day hoping that something will happen and they are more and more worried about a second wave, a new lockdown, harsher restrictions.
With the tail end of summer and the drop in cases they believed it: "their" Kenya was approaching and the plans for winter were safe.
Now everything is getting more difficult again and who knows if it will be possible from now on, at Christmas and in the first months of 2021, to travel from Europe to Africa without any problems, even though they are not residents or have no relatives or other demonstrable emergencies.
For those who live here and work there, and work with tourism, it is a drama no less than what many "sick people of Africa" in Italy are experiencing.
We are all on the same dhow.
For now the only consolation is to joke about it a bit, because as we have seen in the past months, the problems are quite different.
So here is a video and a monologue "à la Freddie" to try to smile a bit.
GOOD VISION!
