Two Italian tourists die in a road accident in Diani

Another 4 are reported to be injured and hospitalised

Two Italian tourists on holiday in Diani at a resort linked to an Italian tour operator have died in a road accident near the Kenyan seaside resort. The Italian Foreign Ministry has announced the news, specifying that the two, a man and a woman whose personal details have not yet been released, were travelling with four other Italians who were injured and are hospitalised in two different coastal hospitals.
According to initial reports, the minibus had veered off the road and overturned.
The Italian Embassy in Nairobi and the Honorary Consulate in Mombasa are in contact with the local authorities and are following the case, providing assistance to their fellow citizens.
