The appeal, initiated by friends of Claudia Peli, our collaborator who had adopted Lydia from a distance before she died prematurely two years ago, reached the group of friends of Donatella Crispino, known by everyone in Malindi as "Donamasai". In a short space of time, almost the entire sum was collected! The customers of the Silversand Residence and the Jahazi Restaurant, who bought copies of Claudia's book "Arrivederci Africa, Kwaheri", which are still on sale at the special price of Kshs. 500 just to continue the indispensable help to Lydia.
