This year's first Christmas greetings in Malindi, the classic "Christmas Carols" will be exchanged today, Thursday 23 December at sunset time in the evocative setting of La Malindina bar restaurant, with free entry open to all those who wish to wish each other happy holidays and exorcise the evil influences of 2020.
What better way to do this than to listen to the Children's Choir of St Anthony's Cathedral in Malindi? Last year, La Malindina put on an unforgettable show with recitations and Christmas songs by the talented children, this year with the rules of the pandemic emergency and social distancing it will be the gospels that will excite.
The children's performance will begin at 6 pm and then greetings will be exchanged. The Malindina opens its doors as if it were everyone's home. For those who wish, after the "Christmas Carols" from 19.30 there will be dinner, at a fixed price (Kes.2500). Part of the proceeds will go to the parish of St. Anthony.
