The People Bar & Restaurant was opened in 2015 by Eugenio del Curatolo, who had already managed it in the first years of the Millennium, when it was called "Kiwi". Eugenio is the grey eminence of pizza in Malindi.
Its first restaurant with wood-burning oven and Neapolitan pizza, the Putipù in 1988.
The Neapolitan restaurateur in Malindi has managed among others Lorenzo al Mwembe, Bar Bar, Gossip, Jahazi.
The venue, located on Lamu Road within the G. A. Complex (between the KCB bank and the Galana Center) is open every day from morning to about 23:00.
In addition to the pizza specialty, you can also eat excellent pasta, fish and grilled meat, as well as daily dishes and snacks. Next to the restaurant there is also a minimarket where you can find fresh cheeses, ice cream, yogurt and more.
