Our musical "game" of the summer has reached its sixth week with as many parodies arranged and sung by Freddie and Sbringo, adapting the lyrics of famous songs to topics that ironically refer to the events dear to Italians in Kenya.
The sixth episode of the "Festival di Sardegna 2" features one of the favourite sports of our compatriots: construction!
Building which, given that we are in Africa, can only be wild.
But in this case, speculation and fraud have nothing to do with it. The adventure lies in the numerous difficulties encountered in the "construction of a house".
It's an obstacle course that often becomes a way of the cross, but in the end it will give great satisfaction...
Because of its relevance to love passion, Freddie and Sbringo this time entrusted the commentary to the music of the great singer-songwriter Ivano Fossati, and his "La costruzione di un amore" became "La costruzione di una casa".

The idea of "Festival di Sardegna 2" was born from the desire to return to smiling about our vicissitudes and flaws tanning in the sun of the Kenyan coast. Because when we had to write funny stories and songs about Italians in Kenya, it was mainly because so many were coming.
And our hope is that as soon as the world fully reopens to tourism, you will come back and visit us.
And it is the hope shared by many Malindi businesses, restaurants, shops, boutiques and our social partner of many adventures, Karibuni Onlus.
Thanks to some of them we have combined this "playlist" of parodies that will be proposed every Saturday until 31 July, with a competition with prizes.
Every week you can "vote" for your favourite song by listening to it and adding a comment under the video on Youtube or in our Facebook group "Italians in Kenya". To take part in the competition we also recommend that you subscribe to Tele Esule's Youtube channel, so that we can verify your name and include you in the lottery "tickets".
Each of the ten tracks will be matched with a song: here are the prizes in alphabetical order!

BAR BAR: Pizza of your choice for two people (excluding drinks)
KAREN BLIXEN: Aperitif for two people with tasting plate

Prizes can be collected from early August, after the draw, until 30 November 2021, subject to availability of the activities. For those who will not be able to reach Kenya by that date, prizes to be delivered in Italy will be specially designated.
