La Terrazza, the beauty of italian cuisine in Nairobi

Art in the wall and plates of Murielle and Stefano's place

We do not casually speak of "culinary art," because the world of muses is not limited only to classical expressions of talent and depictions that elevate our spirits and open to the world of emotions.
Today, the pleasure of treating different ingredients in the kitchen, knowing how to combine them in high-level recipes, and presenting them on the plate as a true work of ingenuity, is the added value of a restaurant that wants to differentiate itself from the average "go-to" dining establishment.
Upon entering La Terrazza, inside the Green House Mall in Nairobi, it is immediately clear that what awaits the customer is not lunch or dinner, but an authentic "experience."
Even before you sit down at the table, in the room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Nairobi CBD from which the restaurant takes its name, you can enjoy the enchantment of an art galleryin which works by some of the most prominent Italian creatives stationed in Kenya frequently stand out.
All amidst fine wine labels or seated in a stylish American bar.
In the elegant penthouse run by Italians Murielle and Stefano, beauty rules, and when it comes time to taste, one discovers a cuisine that adds to the Italian tradition of "homemade" and the most genuine and original flavors possible, the care taken in creating unique dishes and the passion with which they are offered and told.
Murielle is the artist of the stove who creates and has the dishes made, choosing the best Italian products on the market, including burrata and other cheeses, salumi and many other fresh pearls arriving from our country. But also arranging for the daily arrival of the catch from the Indian Ocean in order to bring to the table, for example, a perfect grouper all'acquapazza or inventing spaghetti with smoked sailfish with a decidedly Mediterranean touch. Not to mention fresh pasta (the ravioli are a must-try) and homemade bread and focaccia, just as artisanal are the desserts (don't miss the almond parfait). In the staged performance at the Terrace, for every replica you choose to attend, there is always something new, a touch of class, a suggestion, an extra sliver of beauty to be enchanted by. This makes it one of the Italian excellence of taste in Nairobi.
