Investing in Kenya with millionaire fraud money

Even a resort in Diani in the underworld operation

Kenya is a country where it is definitely worth investing its economic resources to make them pay off. This says the global economy and confirms the international market in various sectors.

But precisely because of this, it is also a country that is strongly prone to corruption and money laundering, even if the meshes against malfeasance, thanks mainly to bilateral agreements with many western nations, are tightening.
This is confirmed by the results of an investigation by the US authorities, published by the Ministry of Justice in Washington, according to which a large part of the proceeds of a major tax fraud that took place in Minnesota, with more than USD 300 million embezzled from charities for needy children, was used to buy flats in residential areas of Nairobi and even a resort in Diani Beach, the well-known holiday resort on the Kenyan south coast.
According to the Daily Nation newspaper, this would be the Karibu Palms Resort, an elegant oceanfront complex. According to the US Department of Justice, the criminals who organised the maxi-scam were 47 US citizens living between the state of Minnesota and New York, some of them of clear Somali and Kenyan origin. Through a system of charities and societies built like Chinese boxes, the funds collected with the participation also of big sponsors, would have been laundered to end up mostly in Kenya, as well as in Turkey and Dubai and used mainly in the field of construction, as well as for the purchase of jewellery and luxury cars.
Recently, the US government asked Kenya's new President William Ruto to review the bilateral agreements signed with his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta precisely to introduce more restrictive measures against money transfers between the two countries in order to curb the phenomenon of tax evasion and money laundering.
