An important meeting dedicated to all entrepreneurs in the tourism sector in Malindi and Lamu will be held on Monday 18 January in the conference room of the Ocean Beach Resort in Malindi to update on the Government's efforts to help businesses that have experienced a year of great economic difficulty resulting from national and international restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The initiative is organised by the Tourism Finance Corporation through the Kenya Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife.
The occasion is the launch of the Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) and to sensitise entrepreneurs on the new ways of accessing national funds for the revival of Tourism, which provide soft loans for renovations, upgrades of facilities and other possibilities that facilitate attractiveness and can assist recovery in view of the global reopening of leisure and business travel and investments of destinations that make hospitality their trademark.
For this reason, the Ministry of Tourism invites all those who want to know more about the financing that will be available, the requirements for obtaining it, interest rates and more, to attend the illustrative conference to be held on Monday 18 January from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is obviously free.
