After the remarkable success and active participation of children and parents at last year's event, the Italian Embassy in Kenya and the Italian Cultural Institute in Nairobi are proposing, next Saturday 17 June 2023, the second edition of the "Children's Republic Day", in the space of "Queen Deli" in Peponi Road, 2 in Westlands starting at 2.30 pm.
This year's event, dedicated to the youngest compatriots, will be a journey through Italy through the drawings of Fabio Vettori and the music of Lorenzo Bernardi (guitar) and Saverio Gabrielli (violin).
The incredible vicissitudes of the well-known Italian musician and composer Niccolò Paganini will be recounted, in an alternation of narration and music, together with the unmistakable 'ants' of the illustrator Vettori!
At the end of the performance, which is in Italian, the children, who must be accompanied by an adult, will be involved in the creative workshop "Drawings in Music" and at the end of the day, refreshments will be offered.
