A day of sport, fun for adults, children and families in the green heart of Malindi with a raffle whose proceeds will go to help the nascent rugby team and school.
Behind the beautiful initiative on Saturday 25 September at the Malindi Golf & Country Club is the hand of the Diamond Dream of Africa, a resort that has always been sensitive to sport, the environment and leisure.
But also to good cuisine, with the well-established presence of the Italian Chef Giacomo Gaspari who for the occasion on Saturday lunch at the Golf Club will prepare an international buffet that will combine Indian, Swahili coastal and Italian specialities.
There will also be sporting competitions, the Stableford Golf Competition and training and demonstrations of the rugby school organised by James Teranyan. For children, there will be inflatable games, tennis and other amenities. From 4 p.m. live music with the AfroSimba band.
Admission to the whole day, including lunch, is Kes. 1200 (children Kes. 500) and the special raffle ticket costs Kes. 500 and fully assists the Malindi Rugby team in completing the training and playing field next to the Golf Club.
Here are the prizes you can aspire to, by purchasing a raffle ticket: first prize a night for two people on an all-inclusive basis at the Diamond Dream of Africa. Second prize, a full board night at Tsavo's Ashnil Camp, third prize a full board night at Doa Doa Camp and so on with lunches, SPA and dhow trips.
