French firm: there was no hacking in the Kenya elections

Ot-Morpho rejects the accuses of kenyan opposition

16-09-2017 by redazione

"There was no intrusion into the data transmission system during the elections in Kenya on 8 August.
By means of a press release addressed to the press agency France Press, taken up by the Kenyan newspapers, the French telematic company Ot-Morpho, which had been indicated by the Opposition as a partner of the alleged "wrongdoings" of the IEBC Electoral Commission, which led to the cancellation of the presidential part-session, responded to the accusations by stating that there were no voluntary manipulations but also intrusions of hackers into the system during the broadcasting of the famous ones.
According to the French company, after an in-depth analysis, no anomaly in the data transmission and verification system was found.
The challenger Raila Odinga, who with his NASA allies since the second day after the elections has always talked about the hacked system and on this basis had based his indictment ended before the Supreme Court, wrote a letter in recent days to the French Government, asking to investigate the incident.
In fact, we still do not know the real reasons why the President of Kenya's Supreme Court, David Maraga, has decided, after 4 out of 6 magistrates voted to do so, to invalidate the elections. The full motivation should be made public next week.
