How the Kenya title deeds rules will change

No taxes for research and automation to avoid tampering

10-04-2017 by redazione

Doing research for the title deeds (title deed) from now on will not cost anything.
As you will soon be speeded practices to know if a title deed is vacant or has an owner, if it is locked or what type it is.
This was decided by the Council of Ministers of Kenya, issuing a directive to eliminate unnecessary costs imposed on Kenyans, but also on foreigners wishing to operate a business in Kenya.
The directive is part of a series of maneuvers designed to prevent the problems that Kenya has always had, especially with regard to boast lands confiscated or even no real right. Actions for which own the Kikuyu, the tribe of the President, has been repeatedly called into question.
The directive also plans to reduce bureaucratic procedures that characterized the operations on the earthly properties for decades.
The President Kenyatta said that during his tenure has issued more than three million property titles that had no owner, especially to those families who already possessed by ancestral rights.
The Ministry of Lands is also working on the digitization of the entire land registration services and real estate practices. Automating will drastically reduce the time required for the deeds and transactions, also avoiding filters and intermediaries that often increase costs and reduce to zero the chances of tampering of securities or of deception which in the past have also affected many foreigners.
