28-04-2017 by redazione

Bad weather on Kenya's coast: The Ministry of the Environment launched a red alert for thunderstorms and floods in most of the counties of the coast and in the immediate hinterland from April 29, tomorrow, to May 1 on Monday.
The alarm also came via cell phones to a large part of the population and particularly concerns Kwale County, Mombasa, Taita Taveta and the southern part of Kilifi County.
In the warning there is no mention of the northern area of Kilifi County, namely Malindi and Watamu, which in this period are affected by monsoon atmospheric phenomena only in small part. In the night there are sparse shorts, even though copious, but during the day, even in the variability, sun and sunshine persist, although the wind is sustained.
In any case, the "warning" of the Ministry of the Environment advises the citizens of these provinces to leave the house indispensable, not to drive on dirt roads and to be careful not to be in the watercourses.
Everything according to the alert should be consumed in three days, but other warnings will follow next week.
