Today beach cleaning day in Malindi and Watamu

Who cares for our seashore join Kws and volunteers

17-09-2016 by redazione

This opportunity is offered by the World Day of cleaning the beaches, to which Kenya participates in the most beautiful places on the coast.
But actually to clean the beach of debris, plastic and other waste, it should be a habit to which all should participate at least once a month.
Hotels that overlook the sea should provide members of staff at least in their stretch of beach to ensure complete cleaning and askari any other activity should be monitored so that no litter jets, bags and other crap on the shore.
The KWS should distribute warnings and, where appropriate, fines and so on. But unfortunately we do not live in the best of all possible worlds, and be content to do our part today, in Malindi and Watamu, along with environmental groups, the KWS, private volunteers, students of schools participating and so on. Appointment in the offices of the Marine Park at 9 this morning, but everyone can make a contribution even waking when he wants, taking quite a lot of junk and feeling part of the Kenyan coast, Kenya, Africa, to this planet, and not a Martian dedicated exclusively to mind their own and maybe even to complain! We'll be there, see you at the beach and this time not only for sunbathing and swimming!
