Mary's School, 12 years of solidarity in Mambrui

From 2008 Mr. Trolese and his friends bet on education

17-12-2020 by redazione

Twelve years have passed since 25 September 2018, when in Piove di Sacco, in the Padua area, the Mary's School Onlus was created, born from the will of a group of friends who decided to live their African experience from another point of view, in order to promote concrete situations of support for development and the spread of education and health culture.
In particular, the aim of Mary's School in all these years has been to promote, develop and support education and training projects, social and health care projects, charity projects to support, as a priority, women and children from underdeveloped geographical areas, to promote initiatives for individual and cooperative development, to support and realise in the educational and socio-health field the valorisation of the person, during the whole life cycle, from childhood to adulthood, for a culture of health and psychophysical well-being, to plan and realise interventions that contribute to guaranteeing the rights of children recognised worldwide.
In all these years, the school has grown not only in quality, with each year being among the best for the performance of its pupils in the Magarini sub-county, but also as a building and educational proposal, with all the primary school classes. After the closure due to the pandemic and the related problems and expenses to adapt to the strictest health protocols, the fourth and eighth classes resumed lessons, which will end on 23 December, to prepare the pupils for their exams. The others will start again in January.
Mary's School is located on the road to Marafa, by Mambrui, 4 km from Lamu Road. Contact person on site, John Karisa Mwatela tel.0722653767
