The town of Kilifi, capital of the county of the same name, which also includes Malindi and Watamu, and an international tourist destination on the rise, definitely has an Italian "star" capable of providing tourists with truly unique experiences.
Saturday, October 9 was officially inaugurated, with a big party, the "cruise boat" on two floors, which can accommodate up to 40 people. This is a novelty for Kilifi and for the excursions in its famous fjord, the Kilifi Creek and also on the Indian Ocean up to the inlet of Takaungu.
The beautiful boat is equipped with a bar and is catered by the White Star restaurant-pizzeria, which already had in its fleet a modern and powerful offshore motorboat with which to carry out sea trips for up to ten people, plus two "sky jets", the water scooters that attract many young people.
Now with the Cruise Boat you can organize parties or birthday parties and weddings, with music or simply, for large groups, make an excursion at sunset time.
The more people there are the more affordable the price becomes.
An experience to live absolutely, for example, is the exit at sunset with an aperitif of prosecco and oysters, fresh and au gratin. But for pizza lovers, the White Star's wood-fired oven can churn out pizzas nonstop and supply both boats, just as it is possible to customize the menu for those who want to turn the big boat into a floating restaurant.
For the grand opening, with the ever-present DJ Dulla at the console, the "fun boat" took to the water and brought a well-rounded group of residents, tour operators, politicians, journalists and tourists around the creek.
Snacks and drinks for everyone and, once docked after the life of a memorable sunset, the fireworks show as in the tradition of the Olimpia Club of Malindi, owner also of White Star and the boats.
An important Italian "star", therefore, to be pinned among the attractions that Kilifi County can offer to tourists.
