Kilili Baharini Resort & SPA, a historic and charming location on Silversand beach in Malindi, also opens its proscenium for New Year's Eve dinner to outsiders, residents and tourists alike.
For those who are pleased to spend New Year's Eve in the intimate, relaxing and elegant atmosphere of the famous resort, it starts at 8:30 p.m. with an aperitif accompanied with delicacies of the palate, in the lounge room with background music by deejay Evi 254, and then moves around 9:30 p.m. to the beautiful garden by the sea always with international music from the console. Dinner of seafood and land specialties, with a bottle of brut Berlucchi for every two adults, is offered at Kes. 9000 per person, with Kenyan midnight toast and a view of the characteristic fireworks on the Malindian beach by the Indian Ocean, and to start the New Year off on the right foot, lentils and salamino.
