A "light" but ironic and intelligent aperitif, a pleasant and fun date like having a chat with old friends and listening to some music.
This could be the atmosphere to breathe at Malaika Malindi on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 6:30 p.m., in the lounge room of the waterfront venue, before a possible dinner (not mandatory) at one of the Kenyan coast's most popular restaurants and with free admission.
It is the first 2023 presentation of Freddie and Sbringo's "Once Upon a Time There Were Italians in Kenya" album, promising an hour of entertainment between beautiful and new songs, historical tunes and monologues, and a bit of impromptu cabaret. All in the comfort of tables and with a spritz or, better yet, as the duo sings, a "healthy tusker baridi."
