Malindi returns to the Getaway Tourism Fair, the tourist fair held every year during this period at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi. Kilili Baharini Resort & SPA is present at the expo of the capital, frequented by operators but also by many citizens still in the process of deciding where to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays.
This year's edition, which began yesterday and will run until tomorrow, Sunday 1st November, will be attended by about seventy exhibitors, mainly hotels, tented camps and activities on Kenyan soil.
The prestigious and historic resort overlooking the Indian Ocean and has been frequented for years by the high class of Nairobi, as well as by an international and Italian clientele, is not the only structure in Malindi to show off and promote the destination: the new management of Tamu Beach (formerly Stephanie Sea Resort) is also present in the mall of Nairobi with a stand to promote its fabulous location overlooking the beach of the Marine Park.
Judging by the reservations of domestic flights from Christmas Eve until mid-January this year there is great attention to destinations in County Kilifi by the so-called domestic tourism.
