Christmas and New Year's Eve on the beach of Silversand among special dinners, great buffet of the 25th and New Year's Eve dinner. It is rich and under the sign of the pleasure of good food and being together, under the sun or under the stars and always with the company of the Indian Ocean and in the unmistakable and quiet environment of the Osteria Beach.
It starts with the New Year's Eve dinner, Friday, December 24: welcome cocktail and a double fish appetizer (smoked sailfish and shrimp cocktail) and then enjoy one of the specialties of the house, the first courses: Italian paccheri with lobster and pappardelle with grouper sauce.
For the second course, the choice is between fish and meat, and instead of lobster and grilled skewers you may prefer a filet wellington or red wine crème, with delicious potato side dishes. The finale is "sweet Christmas", with coffee panna cotta or strawberry parfait. And to celebrate, Osteria offers as digestive its famous caipirinha. During the evening a deejay set will cheer those present, with soft music during dinner and with some good dance to dance until late. For those who wish, you can also ask for the a là carte menu.
On Saturday 25th, for Christmas lunch on the beach, Osteria Beach will prepare the best of its Grand Buffet, in a special version for the holidays. Specialities from land and sea, fresh fish and other delicacies, desserts included. Free beach chair for those who have lunch. Kes. 2500 (drinks not included). Lunch will be accompanied by live music by singer Catherine with her reinterpretation of pop classics.
The Casuarina restaurant continues daily with the usual hours and services and for New Year's Eve dinner, Friday, December 31, the menu is even more enticing: trio of seafood appetizers (octopus and potato salad, shrimp with avocado and tuna with apples), ravioli with pumpkin and shrimp or penne with mushrooms and chicken, tuna pan-seared with spinach, lobster Catalan style or even cordon blue with potatoes Lyon style or pan-seared beef tenderloin with fries. We end with eskimo pie, tiramisu Osteria style and a slice of panettone. Also very tempting is the price: Kes. 3000 per person, excluding drinks.
