One of Malindi and the Kenyan coast's historic and iconic Italian establishments, the Olimpia Club is reopening its doors with new management, a fresh look, new staff and a distinct focus on enjoying a day by the sea at Silversand, from lunch through to dinner and many special evenings to come during the season.
The cuisine continues in the tradition of its creator, Pasquale Pes, but there are many tasty new additions thanks to the introduction of Italian pastry chef Enrico, with his excellent homemade desserts, and the organisation in the kitchen and dining room by Pietro De Santis, who has extensive experience in Malindi and Watamu.
A new menu, inviting aperitifs and free sun loungers for those who have lunch are just some of the offerings for customers at the new Olimpia, who can look forward to events later in the season, including beach parties, aperidinners and other events.
The renovated Olimpia Club opened last night and will quickly settle into its new routine to offer its customers and all visitors to Malindi and the surrounding area excellent service at the start of this new season.
