Non Solo Gelato, Kenya's largest and most prestigious Italian brand of sweet treats (...and more), is opening a new chapter in its wonderful history, betting on Malindi in one of its most iconic and well-known locations.
On Thursday 17 July, the new Non Solo Gelato store will open at the Billionaire Resort, with a Grand Opening to follow on Saturday 19.
The new Non Solo Gelato store is located within the elegant shopping area of the Billionaire Resort, alongside other brands such as Bella Boutique, Poseidon, The White Shop and Jua by Agar.
Coinciding with the start of a new tourist season that promises to be as bright and fruitful as the previous one, which saw the great success of the now well-established Watamu venue and the expansion with the “Primo Piano” restaurant, both inside the Blu Moon Mall, visitors to Malindi will finally be able to enjoy Anna's delicious offerings, including fresh ice cream, Italian desserts, caffeteria and the unmistakable touch of Non Solo Gelato.

The opening date is no coincidence, as 17 July is the birthday of founding partner Andrea Vernizzi, who has always been one of the two driving forces and visionaries behind the Non Solo Gelato project in Kenya.
To celebrate this opening in style, which consolidates Non Solo Gelato's presence in key locations in Kenya, the Grand Opening will be held on Saturday 19 July from 5pm, with tastings, music and surprises. The event is open to all friends, resort guests and residents of Malindi, who will be able to discover the brand's artisan specialities in a unique setting. And what will be the next frontier for Non Solo Gelato? Will there be other openings on the coast? Perhaps a new store in the emerging Kilifi, on the south coast in Diani, or on the paradise island of Lamu... who knows, maybe in all three destinations!
