For those who love stand-up comedy and humor that ranges from the surreal to social satire, the evening will be enlivened by one of Kenya's most famous and brilliant actresses, Mammito Eunice.Known for her ironic style, directness, and deep roots in African urban culture, Mammito has won over audiences with brilliant sketches dealing with themes of everyday life, relationships, society, and current events.

Launched thanks to the Churchill Show comedy collective, Mammito has distinguished herself for her ability to bring the female perspective to the stage with authenticity and intelligence, becoming a unique voice in the African stand-up comedy scene. But Eunice ‘Mammito’ Njoki (who grew up in the Kibera slum, where her gang friends all called each other ‘Mammito’, hence her stage name) has also gained some fame abroad through Netflix, appearing as herself in the Kenyan episodes of the popular series featuring traveling chef Anthony Bourdain.

She is currently co-starring in a Kenyan production on Netflix, the comedy “Inside Job.” Her performance at Piazzetta di Non Solo Gelato, starting at 7 p.m., will be accompanied by live music from the Benji Band.
