It is cyclical and does not always depend on external factors such as economic crises or social anxieties.
The urge to totally change one's life and move to a place like Kenya, and not just, as was the case until a few years ago, its coastline, has come back strongly.
This is also due to the positive tourist season between 2023 and this year, which has brought a large number of compatriots on holiday in the African country, and also to the increase in activities related to international cooperation, voluntary work and civil service, which have attracted young people to Nairobi and various parts of the country, showing them another reality and a possible future working in a 'foreign country' that is less conventional and more open to educational experiences, and no less exciting and fun, albeit with all its difficulties and problems.
These days we are receiving dozens of requests for information and questions about possible moves to Kenya in the immediate future or in the future.
The main questions relate to the field of work, for those who still cannot afford to 'disconnect' completely and live off their income or their pension.
For this specific point, we recommend the tutorial on our YouTube channel, which you can access from here:https://youtu.be/qo5iUHRnAlE
For pensioners, on the other hand, we recommend this tutorial: https://youtu.be/dUmVA5PNrK4
There are also those who have written to us because 'their' Kenya is also characterised by 'matters of the heart', or rather the knowledge of a Kenyan partner on a recent holiday has given them the push, the decisive injection of courage to face the choice of a new life far from Italy, with all the risks and unknowns that (everywhere, not only in Africa) a relationship and its 'precarious eternity' can mean. There are also those who, with more rationality or because they have been engaged for some time, a little in the presence and a little at a distance, are thinking of getting married to make it easier for them to settle down, especially at the bureaucratic level, in Kenya.
For these latter dreamers or interested lovers, the tutorial is here: https://youtu.be/uxh8kuRErrk
