We have repeated this ad nauseam, and we apologise for it: without the help of at least some of our loyal readers (there are about 3,000 regular readers), we would not be able to continue. Nowadays, news sites ask their followers to subscribe, or even force them to do so, obscuring articles and leaving only the headlines visible.

I will never do that, but I humbly ask you for a small contribution “from friends”, which you can send me in several ways, either from Kenya, where we have an average of 23% of our readers, or from Italy, where most of you read us, especially those who come and go from this country that you can no longer do without.

This year, I calculated that in order to pay for the various operating costs, website maintenance, licences, travel, etc., I would need at least 100 readers, just over 3% of my loyal readers, to make a small donation of at least €10 for the year 2026.

And after launching this request, the response has been incredible!

To date, 70 of you have sent me something, some the classic “pizza”, others as much as £100!

I'm still 30 short of my target, so until then I'll keep pestering you!
