SUBSCRIPTIONS 2026

Already 88 readers have sent us a little help, how about you?

If you want to keep reading us, support us (just 10 euros a year is enough!)

02-02-2026 by Freddie del Curatolo

Throughout January 2026, 80 of our readers (there are about 3,000 regular readers) responded to our appeal to continue offering you Italian news from Kenya, which we have been doing for 18 years, without great financial gain but with the satisfaction of having provided a service (for which, among other things, I, Freddie del Curatolo, was awarded the honor of Cavaliere della Stella d'Italia by President Mattarella).

Without you, and without even a little help from you, we would not be able to do it.

As we have said, our goal this year is to receive 100 donations, asking for a minimum of 10 euros, even though our annual subscription, which only 14 people have paid so far, is 100 euros. This is only 3% of our regular readers, but we would be satisfied with that.

Nowadays, news sites ask their followers to subscribe, or even force them to do so, by blocking articles and leaving only the headlines.

I will never do that, but on a more human level, I am asking you for a small contribution “from friends,” which you can send me in several ways, both from Kenya, where we have an average of 23% of our readers, and from Italy, where most of our readers are, especially those who come and go from this country that they can no longer do without.

This year, I calculated that in order to pay for the various operating costs, website maintenance, licenses, travel, etc., I would need at least 100 readers.

And after launching this request, the response has been incredible!

To date, 80 of you have sent me something, some the classic “pizza,” others something more!

I'm still 20 short of my goal, so until then I'll keep bugging you!

Thank you, thank you to everyone who contributed, whom I would like to mention (except for 5 people who asked to remain anonymous)

HOW TO HELP US WITH A SMALL ANNUAL DONATION

FROM KENYA:

If you are a regular reader, you can send a one-time contribution of your choice to +254720178982 or, if you prefer, an annual subscription via MPESA (minimum Kshs. 12,000). All this can be done with a regular tax receipt (Etims).
