After the publication and literary recognition in Italy, at the 2023 edition of the Turin Book Fair with the "Volterrani - Narrare il mondo" award, now comes the first satisfaction of our book "Nairobi, The visible city" (Ed. OgZero) translated into English: Kenya's leading daily newspaper, the Daily Nation, in its Sunday edition, published an exhaustive and positive review of the book by Freddie del Curatolo and Leni Frau, written by the veteran critic of literature and customs, John Fox. A man who has had dealings in life and on the literary scene with such notables as Ngugi Wa Thiong'o or the Ugandan poet Okot P'Bitek.
It is an honour for us to be reviewed by such a prestigious pen on the East African scene, and above all that the review is absolutely positive.
The portrait of Kenya's capital is described as 'personal and impartial' while being passionate and out of the ordinary.
Just what we wanted to hear and what we hope Kenyan readers will understand and appreciate.
Soon the book will be officially presented at several events in Nairobi and further down the coast.
