Five new confirmed positive cases of Covid-19 virus in the last 24 hours in Kenya and one death, which occurred before the infected could reach the hospital in Mombasa.
This is the data transmitted a few minutes ago by the Kenyan Minister of Health, Mutahi Kagwe at the usual press conference outside Afya House, the National Health Office in Nairobi.
Of the five new cases, three are Kenyan citizens and two are foreigners who have travelled abroad in recent weeks.
"Of these cases," Kagwe specified, "only one comes from our mandatory quarantine centers, but all five infected have already been transferred to isolation and the search for their contacts has already begun. 
Almost equal the number of those discharged today, four. These are positive people who reacted well to the treatment and were declared cured after another swab. This brings the number of discharged patients to 9.
Other numbers: of the 184 confirmed cases in Kenya, 107 are male and 77 are female. In terms of age distribution of the 184 cases, 3 are under 15 years of age, 49 are between 15 and 29 years of age, 119 are between 30 and 59 years of age and those over 60 are only 13. 
A total of 2046 people have been monitored, 1448 have been discharged and 598 are under analysis.
Kagwe, a unified network, has asked Kenyan citizens to stay home during the Easter holidays, since most of the activities will not be operational.
