Kenya today recorded nine new cases of Covid19 positive cases, bringing the total number of infected to 25.
This was announced by Health Minister Mutahi Kagwe, specifying that between yesterday and today 82 swabs of people with symptoms related to the Coronavirus were analyzed, but only nine of them were positive, although all the others are still under observation.
Of the nine people affected by the virus, seven are Kenyan citizens and two are foreigners.
Three of them would have contracted the virus from confirmed cases in Kenya, while the other four would come from foreign countries.
The areas from which they come are Nairobi counties. Mombasa, Kwale and Kilifi.
"The patients are all in isolation and are constantly monitored by our staff," Kagwe said, "the search for all the people with whom these new cases would come into contact has already begun.
