Jambojet now flights to Kigali

Nairobi-Kigali with coastal connections

28-11-2019 by redazione

From last Monday you can fly low-cost from Nairobi to Kigali and for the Rwandans it will be easier to connect to coastal destinations to make the holidays, coveted destination since Rwanda as is known does not have the sea.
It is the airline Jambojet, the same that already flies twice a day from Nairobi to Malindi and that from December will fly three times a day on Friday and Saturday with two morning flights, to cover with one flight a day the route that for the first time ever will see a "minor" company connecting the two capitals.
The flight is operated by a Dash 8 aircraft and will take three hours, travelling in the afternoon.
"The launch of the Nairobi-Kigali flight is part of our regional expansion strategy - said the Chief Executive of Jambojet, Allan Kilavuka - for example we already have plans to fly to Mogadishu in February. This first connection will help to intensify the commercial and tourist relationships of the two countries". According to the data in possession of the company, over 65,000 Kenyans every year visit Rwanda and also the opposite flow is not to be underestimated, as well as the creation of connections and possible holiday packages using Jambojet from Kigali to Malindi, via Nairobi. Some hoteliers in Malindi and Watamu are already thinking about it.
