Kenya of the italians today on Rai Italia

"From Cape to Equator", the Nairobi chapter

08-02-2023 by redazione

This afternoon on the channel for Italians around the world, Rai Italia, during one of its most popular programmes, Casa Italia, a special on Nairobi will be aired as part of the beautiful serial report 'Dal Capo all'Equatore' (From the Cape to the Equator), written and directed by Paolo Emilio Landi, a director and author who is an expert on Africa.
Landi set off from Cape Town, South Africa on an expedition between adventure and solidarity, which recounted the countries visited and above all the Italians who live there and have stories worth telling. An extraordinary journey through diverse and spectacular landscapes that best portray the variety, nature and humanity of this continent.
In the thirteenth and penultimate episode, before landing in Kampala, Uganda, we talk about the capital of Kenya, with interviews with our director Freddie del Curatolo, who talks about his experience and his latest book dedicated precisely to "Nairobi", and the photographer Paolo Torchio, who acts as a cicerone in "his kingdom", the Nairobi National Park. From 5.45 p.m. (Kenya time, in Italy on Rai Play two hours earlier) onwards, an appointment with Kenya told by Italians.
