The asphalting of Mambrui-Marafa road is part of the budget of the Ministry of Transport for infrastructure in the County of Kilifi, project for the reconstruction of 1,200 kilometers of roads by 2019. Among the guidelines that will be paved, in addition to Tsavo Road the road to Marafa, there will also be the link between the hinterland and Kilifi to Malindi, with Bamba-Malanga-Langobaya road. In the future, with the bridge that would connect the Galana Langobaya with Baricho, in practice it would have a shorthand all paved the Mombasa-Nairobi (up to Mariakani) that would connect the trucks to the road to Lamu Malindi well.
