And came the first call of the American President Donald Trump to fellow Kenyan Uhuru Kenyatta.
A month and a half after setting the White House and in the midst of meetings and implementation of its government's plan, the leaders of the US has found the time to talk with the head of state of Kenya.
About ten minutes to reaffirm the US commitment to help the African country in the fight against terrorism in Somalia (Trump has appreciated the commitment of Kenya, at the forefront of UNISOM mission of African nations to defeat fundamentalism and report democracy in the country scourged) and to congratulate for economic growth, with a promise to strengthen the existing bilateral relations and increase the import and export between the two markets, also considering the new frontiers of technology and transport.
No mention of Trump to his predecessor, Barack Obama's Kenyan half.
