8 of Kenya's best artists at The Sands at Nomad

15-12-2022 by redazione

Opening today at Sands at Nomad in Diani is the group exhibition "Out of Africa Edition," featuring a look at some of Kenya's most prominent and celebrated artists, in collaboration with Almasi Art Agency.
Through Dec. 15, 2023, there will be a chance to view unique collectible pieces by eight exponents of national contemporary art, including number one Kenyan pop-artist Michael Soi, impressionist Fred Abuga, Nadia Kisseleva, Onyis Martin who combines several interesting painting and collage techniques, Anne Mwiti and Yassir Ali.
The Sands at Nomad this year has definitely focused on artistic expression and in particular on showcasing local talent of the highest caliber, presenting exhibitions as "sensory and emotional journeys" in the setting of the renowned venue by the Indian Ocean.
At Easter 2022, the "Recycled Edition" exhibition showcased young artists displaying artwork made from recycled materials and in line with The Sands' ethos of reusing materials and its approach to sustainability.
