The Italian Week menu at Nomad in Diani

The renowned restaurant also participates in the event

The Sands at Nomad, an excellence in food and wine, as well as hospitality, of the Italian resort that has always had an Italian touch, is also participating with a menu dedicated to the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World.
Italian chef Tobia has prepared a menu all week in honour of the event organised by the Italian Embassy in Kenya for the initiative created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. At Nomad, moreover, Tuk Tuks come and go with images from the 'Follow the Italian taste' exhibition.

Scialatielli Seafood

Neapolitan styled pasta with Diani’s best seafood

Burratina

Locally sourced burrata cheese, served with cherry tomato

Pappardelle Lamb

Braised and pulled lamb with a tangy tomato sauce

Eggplant Parmigiana

Layers of eggplant and mozzarella with pomodoro sauce and a parmesan chip

Squid Ink Tonnarelli

Tossed in calamari ragout, topped with cherry tomato confit

Ravioli ai Frutti di Mare

Seafood stuffed ravioli, served with prawns, and seafood bisque

Vitello Tonnato

Seared and thinly sliced beef fillet, served with a homemade tonné (tuna) mayonnaise, baby rocket, crunchy capers and their powder with a charred lemon and fine Italian olive oil
